Hello, I am a student in Business Management and here is a glossary related to my field of study that could help.
- bankrupt
- adjective
- When a person or organization declared in law is unable to pay outstanding debts.
- Example: The company went bankrupt after not being able to pay its debts.

- budget
- noun
- An estimate of income and expenditures for a set period of time.
- Example: Each enterprise is carefully monitored, compared to the budget, compared to last years performance and discussed at board meetings about short term and long term plans for each enterprise.

- noun
- A business organization that makes, buys, or sells goods or provides services in exchange for money.
- Example: Such mistakes cause inconvenience to the customer and a loss of trust in the company-customer relationship.

- noun
- Someone who buys good or services from a business.
- Example: Hom (2000) stresses the importance of referring to consumer and consumption as opposed to customer buyer, for the latter is not always the one who tries out the product and therefore is not the best suited to be the sole subject of marketing researcher's analysis.

- noun
- Money committed or property acquired for future income.
- Example: The underlying assumption that the early farmers were preoccupied with maximising 'returns on investment' can be questioned.

- A room, set of rooms, or building used as a place for commercial, professional, or bureaucratic work.
- Example: The employee works at his office.

- brand
- noun
- A category of products that are all made by a particular company and have a particular name.
- Example: They trust and like the brand and shop at H&M on regular basis.

- contract
- noun
- A formal agreement between two or more parties. A document that states the terms of such an agreement. The branch of law treating of contracts.
- Example: However the draw back to the job is it's very hard to get a permanent contract, which means the job will be unreliable for providing a continues income, it will vary depending on how long and when a contract can be obtained.

- The delivering of products to end-users.
- Example: The Institute Of grocery Distribution (1990) A statistical digest of the UK grocery industry supply chain.

- currency
- noun
- A system of money in general use in a particular country.
- Example: The jump in interest rate is because for the UIP condition to hold, the interest rate parity after the abandon of fixed exchange rate has to adjust immediately to reflect the depreciation in currency.

- Example: Turnbull emphasises this view for canals as most freight movement was over short distances and long hauls were restricted by the slow development of trunk routes.

- A center of operations or administration.
- Example: Never mind that more serious crimes daily occur at corporate headquarter, banks and on Wall Street.

- Example: All these roles can be linked to the management tasks of production, marketing, financial and personal management.

- Someone who is in charge of a business, department, etc.
- Example: This enabled store manager's to have more decision making power while still being held accountable to the M&S company.

- market
- noun
- An area such as a country or part of a country where a product or service can be sold.
- Example: For my product to become preferable, it must stand out in the market, either as value added, or good value.

- noun
- A building or room where things are sold.
- Example: Quality can be considered a 'qualifying factor' as the performance in this objective must be above a threshold for customers to consider the store.

- noun
- The sale of goods in large quantities, as for resale by a retailer.
- Example: It operates by outsourcing 56% of product lines through its strategic alliance with Nisa Today's, the UK's largest buying group for independent retail and wholesale companies.
